Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

Your privacy is a priority. This policy explains, in plain language, what data is handled when you use QZTools.

Your files

Every QZTools tool currently available processes files directly in your browser, on your own device. Your files (documents, images, audio and video), the text you paste and the passwords you use to protect or unlock a PDF are not uploaded to our servers; we don't see them and we don't store them.

Files stay in your browser's memory only while you use the tool and are gone when you close or reload the page.

Accounts and personal data

QZTools doesn't require sign-up or user accounts, and we don't ask for personal data to use the tools.

If you contact us (for example by email or through the creator's social profiles), we'll use your contact details and message only to reply to you.

Cookies and analytics

We currently use no tracking cookies or advertising tools. The site may store minimal technical preferences in your browser that it needs to work.

If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we'll update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before enabling them.

Server technical logs

Like any website, the provider hosting QZTools may log basic technical data about visits (such as IP address, browser and requested page) to keep the service secure and running. These logs never include the contents of your files.

Changes to this policy

If we change how data is handled — for example, when adding tools that need a server — we'll update this page and show the date of the latest revision.
