About this tool
Many sites require specific image sizes: a square profile photo, a 1200 px wide cover, or a scan under a size limit. This tool lets you hit those numbers in seconds.
When shrinking, we use progressive high-quality scaling that keeps edges crisp. The image is saved in its original format so you can use it anywhere.
Resizing happens in your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
Frequently asked questions
How do I resize without stretching the image?
Keep “Keep aspect ratio” turned on. When you change the width, the height is calculated automatically with the same proportions.
Does a smaller size also mean a smaller file?
Yes. Fewer pixels means a lighter file. To shrink it further, run it through the image compressor afterwards.
Can I make an image bigger?
Yes, but enlarging doesn't add detail, so the image may look soft if you scale it up a lot.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP. The result is saved in the same format as the original.
