About this tool
The mark is written as text inside the PDF, on top of the content with the transparency you choose, so it looks the same in every reader and printer.
It uses the standard Helvetica font: Latin letters with accents, numbers and common symbols work, but emoji and non-Latin scripts don't.
The document is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Can the watermark be removed later?
With advanced editors it's possible, because it's text. For more protection, combine the tiled layout with “Flatten PDF” in image mode.
Can I add it to some pages only?
Yes, choose “Some” and enter the pages, for example 1-3, 5.
